Special Needs/ SUPPORT Ministry

At Waterlife Church it is our mission to see everyone come to know and grow in their relationship with Jesus despite our abilities or past experiences. We believe that everyone is made in the image of Christ and that each of us have our own unique and personal gifts to share. It is our goal to help your child learn about Jesus in a way that makes sense to him/her. As we work with you and your child we want to support and encourage you along your journey and help be an advocate for your child.

If you are interested in coming and would like to provide us more information on your child and how we can best serve them, click the button below.

How We Serve

Waterlife Kids (Birth - 5th grade)

Waterlife kids serve our children from birth through the 5th grade. Some of the adaptations that are used include an adapted curriculum through Orange, noise reducing headphones, flexible seating in our kids classrooms, 1:1 supports, and a quiet space known as the SEAside support room. Our volunteers go through detailed and thorough training before volunteering as a 1:1 support for your child on Sunday mornings. If you have any questions about our children’s ministry before attending Sunday or would like a tour of the kids space please reach out to the Waterlife Kids Director, Ethan Swanson at ethan@waterlifechurch.com

H2O (6th-12th grade)

If your child requires additional support to be able to participate in our Sunday evening youth activities please reach out to Chris Eidse at chris@waterlifechurch.com or Ethan Swanson at ethan@waterlifechurch.com.

AdultS with special needs

If you have an adult child or know an adult with special needs that you would like to explore other options for during Sunday morning service times please reach out to ethan@waterlifechurch.com.

Parents/Caregivers of Children with Special Needs

Waterlife Church offers a life group geared towards caregivers of children with special needs. It is important to do life together and to have a support system in place where you feel encouraged in life’s ups and downs. A disability isn’t always visible and affects every family differently. If you have questions or are interested in trying this life group out please contact Chris Eidse at chris@waterlifechurch.com
