Calling all engaged couples! We are offering a pre-marital counseling class starting February 29th and will meet for 10 weeks at the church on Thursdays from 6-8 PM. Cost of the class is $60 to be paid to Waterlife Church. Cost of materials to be purchased online is $60.00. If you are interested, sign up by filling out the form below.
THE NEXT GROUP PREMARITAL COUNSELING COURSE IS FEBRUARY 29TH
Premarital Counseling Course.
This 10 week course is certified through “Prepare-Enrich”. Their mission is to equip marriage champions, couples, and families with evidence-based skills and insights to foster healthy relationships.
The course includes 14 different topics that will be covered including communication, dealing with conflict, intimacy, money, spirituality and many others. We will cover 2 topics/week.
Each couple will take an assessment that is intended to identify areas of strength for the couple. Each couple will be asked to purchase a discussion guide and a Workbook for Couples in order to utilize throughout the course. Total investment for this course is $120.
Donald Polk
Donald Polk has been a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist in the San Francisco Bay Area of California for the past six years. His practice in Redwood City, CA has seen families, marriages, professional coaching clients and children find relief from early life traumas and dysfunctions that have plagued their relationships throughout their lifespan. With an Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Palo Alto University, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, an accounting degree and years of experience in start up businesses, Mr. Polk is uniquely positioned to help others with their life transitions from trauma, grief, job/career changes, relationship challenges and adolescent behavioral stage development. His heart and passion for others is evident in his work.
