One true god
We believe that there is only one true and living God who exists eternally in three persons. God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each of whom have distinct personal attributes but without division of nature, essence, or being. God has revealed Himself to humanity most fully in His Son Jesus.
son
We believe that Jesus Christ is God's one and only son. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross for the sins of the world, rose to life on the third day, is the only way to salvation, and is coming again. We believe that Jesus is truly "the way, the truth, and the life."
people
We believe that all people are created in God's image, are valued, and are loved by God. Unfortunately, our choice to sin has damaged our relationship with God and others, and the consequence has been separation from God. Our greatest need is to be forgiven and put in the right relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
the church
We believe that the church is a body of baptized believers who have committed their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The church gathers to worship God, to serve Him, and to share His good news with the world.
salvation
We believe that salvation is totally and completely a gift of God's grace. Salvation is not earned through our good works, merited, or deserved in any way. Salvation is the work and gift of our loving God. Salvation only comes through faith in Jesus Christ, and in Him alone. God's great desire is for all people to be saved. (2 Peter 3:9)
holy spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God, and is at work in our lives and in the world. The Holy Spirit reveals truth, convicts of sin, draws people to salvation in Christ, cultivates Christian character, empowers and enables us for service, and comforts and guides God's people.
father
We believe that God the Father watches over His creation with love, care, and wisdom. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-loving. He is in control and will carry out all of His plans for His creation according to His will.
the bible
We believe the Bible is "God-breathed" and is therefore the Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
